MAY CHILDRENS WORKSHOPS!!!

TBG&S will facilitate a series of art workshops in tandem with our exhibition programme and aimed at children between the age of 6-8 and 8-12.
These fun and original family-orientated workshops will place the participants in the heart of creativity and help them to develop their senses of observation, invention and autonomy.

Each session will be led by an experienced artist and will take place in our atrium space on the ground floor.
Please note that a parent or a guardian should accompany children and be present during the whole duration of the workshop.

Fee: €5 per child

May workshops

3rd of May
Working with a very simple origami model as a basis, the children will each make an individual and characterised piece and look at different ways of customising it.

Afternoon session

Time: 1.30pm-3.00pm

24th of May
We will look at storms as subject and process. On large sheets of paper we will play with the elements, water, wind and paint, experiment with flooding, blowing, gusting and splashing to create dramatic and energetic pictures of storms.
